• We are located just to the west of the city of Elyria Ohio on Murray Ridge Road. If you are using the North Coast Inland Trail, driving Leo Bullock Pkwy or visiting Shuster's Christmas Shoppe on a nice day during the warmer months look to the skies and you may see us flying. You may even get lucky and see one of our hardier members flying in the colder months.
• Our flying site, Crawford Field is located in a rural setting and has a runway approximately 550' long x 75' wide. It is surrounded by approximately 40 acres of obstacle-free farmland. A great field for both beginners and experienced flyers.
• If you are new to radio controlled flying, or a former flyer who wants to get back into the hobby, we WILL assist you and is free for club members. So come out and give it a try. Even if you come out just for a visit you may get lucky and run into a member with a buddy box on them and be able to give it a go!
• Prospective members may use the form on the Contact Us page, or come to one of our meetings.
• Again, our large flying site makes flying comfortable and allows for longer site lines to learn, get back into the hobby or just plain have a relaxing time flying if you are already proficient. Or if you are an EDF jockey or have other high speed aircraft, you can air it out with a little less stress.
• We welcome pretty much all levels of flying including large scale*, EDF's, drones and turbine*.
• Remember, we are an AMA Chartered Club and the AMA safety code shall be followed at all times! The Safety Code is available on the AMA website (link at bottom of page) under the Media & Resources tab.
  

*Large scale operators must prove proficiency before flying large equipment. Turbine operators must have their AMA turbine waiver and also prove proficiency before flying. We currently have a member (waiver and event accredited) who can assist in obtaining your AMA turbine waiver if you are interested. Please be sure to mention any of these interests when contacting us the first time for your potential membership.
